September 19, 2019 – National Police Cooperation Agreement on: (a) Authorizations to Interfere in Property, in accordance with Section 93 of the Police Act 1997 and (b) Targeted Interventions in Facilities in Accordance with InterAlia s.106 of the 2016 Investigation Act The Commissioner and chief-table were appointed on 15 October 2016. The aforementioned agreement, Section 22A, in which the two parties reached an agreement, was presented on 27 September 2016. Below is a copy of each cooperation agreement in force in West Yorkshire. The cooperation agreement between national police forces, as well as police and police commissioners, will cooperate and coordinate at the national level and contribute to the creation of the National Commissioner in charge of police on the basis of the agreement of chief constables, police and police commissioners and the Minister of the Interior. This was signed by the Commissioner of Police for Northumbria and the Chief Constable for Northumbria. Sections 22A to 23I of the 1996 Police Act (amended) (the Act) contain provisions that allow for cooperation agreements between police forces and local police offices (CPC) to ensure more efficient and effective police service delivery. Such an agreement is known as the Police Force Collaboration Agreement (PFCA). The CCP has the following police cooperation agreements with the CCP and Chief Constables of Yorkshire, and the Humber Durham Constabulary has the necessary means for the maintenance of the police vehicles of the cooperating forces. All police forces of the Ministry of the Interior have been invited to conclude a formal cooperation agreement with the Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC). The CNC is an armed police force responsible for the protection of civilian nuclear materials at sites in the United Kingdom. Their officers have the full power of an agent at licensed sites and 5 kilometres across the border and everywhere while escorting nuclear materials. The cooperation agreement Section 22A aims to create a legal basis for the CNC to support the police forces of the Ministry of the Interior, if approved, as a simple alternative to the Energy Act of 2004. As a result of the Northeast Regional Cooperation Agreement, these forces signed another sub-functional agreement on digital forensics within the meaning of ISO accreditation.

There are no legal, financial or operational issues related to the agreement. The force has entered into a formal cooperation agreement for the joint use of Durham Constabulary`s Scientific Support Laboratory and ISO accredited agencies to enable the force to provide a fingerprint enhancement service that, in the foreseeable future, will meet national quality standards.
